Hear the Lions roar – Lions Tour 2013

Lions Tour 2013

by admin on June 14, 2013

What’s that noise in the distance? It sounds like a group of roaring Lions!!

The British and Irish Lions are making themselves at home in Australia and quietly going about their business. With 4 wins out of 4 already against the Barbarians in Hong Kong and 3 regional Australian sides things are shaping up nicely. However, the Lions are sure to face stronger challenges in their remaining warm-up matches, particularly against the New South Wales Waratahs on Saturday 15th June.

With the huge number of Lions supporters following the team across Australia the atmosphere and buzz will be a great experience where-ever they go. Despite being on home soil Australia will go into the test series as underdogs, but will the Lions be able to handle the pressure? The management team will be hoping that the strong competition for those starting jerseys will bring out the best in the players.

The first test is in Brisbane on the 22nd June, Melbourne hosts the second test a week later on the 29th June and the Sydney test will conclude the 3 test series on 6th July.

Can the Lions make history by staying undefeated and beating the old enemy in their own back-yard?
