New Tax Helpdesk in Cairns

by admin on June 28, 2010

Taxback.com in Australia has just expanded its operatiosn in order make getting your Oz tax back even easier. Our new tax helpdesk is located inside the Regional Tourist Information Centre, on Aplin St, in the heart of Cairns CBD.

This new location was made possible due to the new partnership created between taxback.com and Destination Cairns Marketing. Destination Cairns Marketing (DCM) is a family owned and operated travel wholesale company. With over 20 years experience in the industry and more than 100 retail and wholesale locations, DCM has established itself as one of the leading retail and wholesale locations in the Tropical North.

Australian Marketing Manager, Christina Hosback, said ‘Cairns is such an important hotspot for travelers during their stay in Australia, it is important for taxbck.com to have a strong presence there and make ourselves accessible to our target market even when they are enjoying themselves on the Great Barrier Reef. This new location allows us to offer a one stop shop for all our customers tax needs’.

In addition, ‘taxback.com is really delighted to have the support of DCM. As DCM is such key player in the travel industry, this partnership and relocation was a natural move for us and we hope to be able to expand our tax service throughout the entire DCM network.

Local Cairns taxback.com representative, Katie Archer, said the helpdesk only opened little over a week and already the response we have received is phenomenal. We are receiving so many walk ins and enquiries and this is the busiest travel office in Cairns and this new location provides us with the opportunity to market our service to so many new customers in the Cairns are.

The hew helpdesk will be open Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 17.00 and be contacted directly on 1800 674 014
